The NYPD's 104th Precinct will host a blood drive for New York Blood Center from 11:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the precinct, located at 64-02 Catalpa Ave. in Ridgewood.
Appointments can be made by calling Officer Mathleir at (718) 417-2408, or online at nybloodcenter.org.
Walk-ins also will be accepted.
All donors must have a photo ID; weigh at least 110 pounds; be between 16 and 75 years old and have had no tattoos in the past 12 months. Donors 16 years of age need parental permission. Those above 75 need a doctor's note.
