The NYPD is searching for this individual for robbing a local bank. At 2:50 p.m. on Sept. 28, 2012, an unidentified male entered the Cross County Savings Bank located at 80-10 Eliot Ave. in Middle Village and passed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller complied and he fled with an undetermined amount. The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, 35 to 40 years of age, wearing thick glasses, a red wig, gray hoodie and a blue Yankees hat. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
