Models strutted their stuff in the latest styles at The Shops at Atlas Park in a recent fashion show featuring 11 of the Glendale mall’s retailers. The models were with the John Casablancas agency.
The stores that participated were Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, White House Black Market, Gymboree, J. Jill, Chico’s, Maidenform, Claire’s, Laila Rowe, Momo’s and The Time Store.
One new store recently opened in The Shops at Atlas Park, the Glendale mall that’s been undergoing revitalization, and management says four more are on the way.
Payless Shoe Source, a chain that focuses on affordability, is open for business. Coming soon are Ulta Beauty, which deals in cosmetics and other elements of appearance; Crazy 8, a seller of children’s clothes and accessories; Footlocker, an athletic shoe and apparel company; and Auntie Anne’s, which sells soft pretzels.
“New stores like Ulta are just right for this property,” Atlas Park property manager Liza Diaz said in announcing the new additions. “We’re focused on bringing exciting new retail and food concepts to our community.”
The mall, owned since 2011 by the Macerich firm, is also planning its second Summer on the Green event series, featuring family-oriented happenings such as movies and concerts.
