IN Group Hosts its Fifth Annual Rang Barse Celebration

Invites you to a festival of colors aboard a cruise around the Hudson River

NEW YORK, March 6, 2012 --IN Group, a New York-based event management company committed to creating dynamic events that inspire and innovate, invites everyone to participate in the colorful celebration of Holi or Rang Barse.  To celebrate the 5th annual Rang Barse event, participants will set sail on The Princess to cruise along the Hudson River from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 17th, 2012.

Holi is a traditional Indian festival of colors that welcomes spring by people throwing colored powder and water on one another.  The IN Group’s exclusive Rang Barse (“Rain of Color”) cruise will leave from Pier 16, South Street Seaport, NY.  With plenty of food, drinks and color aboard, festivities will also include music by DJ Ashu Rai, Bollywood style performances by dance troupes Bollywood Axion and Dhoonya Dance and authentic Indian drums (dhol) played by Dholi Nik.

“We’re excited to commemorate five years of Rang Barse in New York and welcome everyone to learn about India’s richly beautiful culture, “said Rohika Hardas, Co- Founder.  “Since our Rang Barse event falls on St. Patrick’s Day this year, we invite you to experience green in a new way and have fun with reds, yellows, blues, and a rainbow of colors, too.”

IN Group’s Rang Barse event has attracted attention both locally and from the Tri-State area and expect 500 people to attend.

“We’ve been looking forward to our New York trip, specifically to celebrate Holi on The Princess,” said Melinda Stewart from the Bucket List Bunch, a social organization from Fairfield, Connecticut traveling with 40 people to the IN Group’s Rang Barse.  “We feel that Rang Barse is an occasion of pure joy and mirth, fun and play, music and dance, and lots of bright colors.  This is more than just a party; it’s an opportunity to immerse ourselves in another culture.  We cannot wait to add some color to our lives with new found friends.”

Please note: We ask that all ticket-holders arrive promptly at 11:30 AM for registration.  The ship will depart at 12:30 PM.  This is an exclusive event with a limited supply of tickets.  Tickets are $80 per person.
