Join us for the 23rd annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade presented by Beggin'® on Saturday, October 26. It’s the biggest Halloween dog parade in the East Village, drawing hundreds of dogs, thousands of owners, and thousands of attendees each year! Dogs of all breeds and sizes will wear their most creative costumes as they vie to win the illustrious “Best in Show” award for the best costume. Admission is free; however, a $5 raffle ticket purchase is suggested for attendees. The costume contest is open to anyone with a costumed dog. This year’s highlights include:

·         Three rounds of the costume contest

o   Hosted by Stephen Kramer Glickmann

o   Prizes for all ten winners selected during each round

o   Overall “Best in Show” winner selected at the end of the event

§  Winner to receive an iPad Mini

·         Various raffle prizes given out to attendees every hour, including dog treats, dog gear, and even tickets to an upcoming Broadway show

·         Sampling from the event’s sponsor – Beggin’

·         Pet adoption opportunities from local rescue groups

All funds raised will support the Friends of First Run, who maintain and upkeep the Tompkins Square Park Dog Run year-round.
